The Appeal Arbitration Court for the Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of our client “Liqui-Moly Gesellschaft mit beschranker Haftung” (Germany)

  September 20, 2011 the Appeal Arbitration Court for the Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of our client “Liqui-Moly Gesellschaft mit beschranker Haftung” (Germany) in trademark infringement case on international registration trademark No. 767230 and affirmed the Decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court as of July 08, 2011 according to which the Court decided to collect from one of the Defendants (Closed Joint Stock Company “Obninskorgsintez”) compensation in the amount of 100 000 rubles, to collect from the other Defendant (“Logo-Auto” Ltd.) compensation in the amount of 10 000 rubles, to oblige Closed Joint Stock Company “Obninskorgsintez” to destroy on its own expense packagings of motor oils marked with the designation “SINTOIL”, to prohibit the Defendants to use the designation “SINTOIL” on the packagings of motor oils when manufacturing them, introducing into the civil turnover, offering for sale and selling.
