International Conference “Biotechnology, Environment & Biomedicine” at Biotechnological Research Center

On May 11-13, 2005, the International conference “Biotechnology, Environment & Biomedicine” took place in the Biotechnological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Science in the City of Puschino (Moscow Region).
The Biotechnological Research Center of Puschino is the most prominent in Russia. It consists of ten Scientific Research Institutes specializing in almost all field of biotechnology. The Conference in particular was focused on the problem of commercialization of the Russian inventions in the field of Biotechnology. SOJUZPATENT is traditionally the leading Russian IP law firm in the field of biotech; that is why the topic on patents was presented by SOJUZPATENT's patent attorneys as the main panelists.
