- Holds Ph.D. degree in Economics;
- Master’s degree from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (economics and law department); specialist in law, finance, mathematical modeling;
- Diploma from the Academy of Budget and Treasury of the Russian Ministry of Finance in the securities market;
- Diploma in the International Financial Reporting Standards;
- Trainings in the U.S., Germany, and France;
- Study course at the Northern Kentucky University as a visiting scholar;
- Started his career as a software designer;
- Has an extended experience in law and finance since 1991, mostly as a top manager in the Russian banking sector, including positions of C.E.O. and President in two national banks during the last seven years prior to joining Sojuzpatent;
- Experience of work in the Boards of the Banking Association ‘Russia’, the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Russian Europay (Mastercard) Members Association, other national and international organizations;
- Active participant of the legislative process. Ex-member of Russian Duma’s expert commission on banking legislation and many other civic and governmental bodies;
- Founder of the Payments & Settlements Committee within the Banking Association ‘Russia’;
- Ex-member of the Banking Commission of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), head of payments/settlements group;
- Expert of the international network Gerson Lehrman Group;
- Authored several publications on economics, finance, and intellectual property law;
- With Sojuzpatent since 2011;
- Languages – English, French.
