Sotekkomcenter’s Patent Withstands Invalidation Attack

The Chamber for Patent Disputes dismissed an opposition filed against our client’s patent to the utility model “Fitting support.”

An invalidation action against a patent owned by our client Sotekkomcenter LLC was filed with Rospatent’s Chamber for Patent Dispute in late 2022. The opposing party claimed lack of novelty as the grounds for the opposition. In order to fend off the opposition, Sojuzpatent’s attorneys used legal and technical arguments based on patent documents, technical literature and profound knowledge of manufacturing processes. In the end, our client was able to retain its patent rights in full.
