Sojuzpatent Takes Part in Conference on IP Protection in Eurasian Economic Union

Sojuzpatent’s Senior lawyer Maria Plotkina took part in the international conference “Modern Regulation of Intellectual Property and Licensing in the Eurasian Economic Union” held on June 5-8th in Minsk, Belarus. The conference was attended by 150 participants, including representatives from the Eurasian Economic Commission, the EAPO, the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the RUPTO, Belpatent, as well as IP specialists from 14 countries. Various aspects of current and pending legislation in the Eurasian Union member states, judicial practice and modern challenges for IP protection and enforcement were discussed.  

The conference was organized by the Chamber of Patent Attorneys, LES Russia, the Belarus Association of Patent Attorneys and the Association “Belbrand”.
