The Administrative Panel of the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center ruled in favor of our client Calzedonia S.p.A. (Italy), a major producer of hosiery and beachwear for women, men, and children.
The Panel adjudicated that the disputed domain name calzedonia.website had been registered and used in bad faith and honored our client’s claim to transfer the domain name to Calzedonia S.p.A.
In particular, the administrative panel concluded that the respondent has registered and is using the disputed domain name primarily for the purpose of disrupting our client's business by misleading consumers into thinking that a connection exists between the respondent and our client.
The case was processed under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
