Sojuzpatent Hosts Round Table at International Forum “Intellectual Property – XXI Century”

Sojuzpatent organized a round table “Topical Issues of registration and protection of trademarks and other means of individualization” at the XXII International Forum “Intellectual Property – XXI Century” on 22 April 2019.

The International Forum “Intellectual Property – XXI Century” is the top Russian conference on IP issues held annually by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The timing of the conference is linked to the celebration of the Days of Intellectual Property worldwide.

Main themes of the discussion:

• Trademarks protection by the Customs Authorities within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union;
• Domain names: judicial and extrajudicial methods of IP rights protection;
• Appellations of Origin: key issues of registration in Russia;
• Recent IP court practice re challenging the RUPTO’s decisions;
