Korean Cosmetics Company Prevails in Trademark Invalidation Case

Sojuzpatent successfully represented a well-known developer and manufacturer of natural, hypoallergenic cosmetics ENOUGH Co. (Korea) in a trademark invalidation case.

The Chamber for Patent Disputes satisfied an invalidation action filed in the interests of ENOUGH Co. LTD against a trademark similar to the company name used by ENOUGH in its business activity since its foundation in 2002. The rights holder of the disputed trademark intended to restrict the company’s activities and prohibit the bona fide manufacturer from using the designation in Russia. The Chamber considered the grounds of the action and decided to invalidate the disputed trademark with respect to the goods and services related to ENOUGH’s activities.
