Invalidation Action against Evalar’s Trademark Rejected

The Chamber for Patent Disputes rejected an invalidation action brought against the trademark ЭФФЕКС EFFEX owned by our client Evalar, a major Russian pharmaceutical company.
The invalidation action had been initiated by the owner of the trademark Эррекс (Errex). The opposing party claimed that the disputed trademark is confusingly similar to their mark. Sojuzpatent’s arguments prevailed and the invalidation claim was rejected.
