Dutch Cosmetics Company Favorably Settles Domain Dispute

Rituals Cosmetics B.V. (the Netherlands) filed a lawsuit against the owner of the domain name rituals.ru (Case № А40-188178/21). The plaintiff claimed infringement of its trademark RITUALS – international registration 914438. The court approved preliminary injunction prohibiting the registrar to transfer the domain name to any third parties. In the meantime, during negotiations held by Sojuzpatent lawyers, a peaceful solution was found. As a result, the restrictive measures were dropped and the right to the disputed domain name has been transferred to Sojuzpatent account to be further transferred to the plaintiff (Rituals).
