Court for Intellectual Property Rights Rules in Favor of Sojuzpatent’s Client - Consorzio Tutela Vini Emilia (Italy)

The Court for Intellectual Property Rights overruled the Decision of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) dated 22.12.2017 which had rejected the client’s objection on Rospatent’s earlier Decision refusing registration of designation EMILIA as an appellation of origin of goods. The Court obliged Rospatent to reconsider the objection taking into consideration the Court’s Decision.
