Chamber for Patent Disputes Upholds Validity of Sojuzpatent Client’s Trademark “MINIMI”

The RUPTO’s Chamber for Patent Disputes rejected the opposition against granting legal protection to the trademark “MINIMI” owned by our client - a Russian LLC with a Golden Lady SpA (Italy) investment share. Sojuzpatent team’s arguments prevailed as the Chamber for Patent Disputes disagreed with the opponent and confirmed the compliance of the registration with Clauses 3 and 6 (2) of Article 1483 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. Thus, the “MINIMI” trademark registration under certificate No. 636233 remains in effect.
