Court for Intellectual Property Rights Rules in Favor of Sojuzpatent’s Client – Osotsps Co. Ltd. (Thailand)

The Court for Intellectual Property Rights in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client – Osotsps Co. Ltd. (Thailand) in a cancellation action regarding Russian trademark registration «STORM» No. 234644 and Russian trademark registration «STORM СТОРМ» No. 317548 regarding goods of class 32 of Nice Classification indicated in the registrations because of their non-use during three years preceding the filing of the law suit. The court satisfied the claims of Osotsps Co. Ltd. and terminated the legal protection of the Russian trademark under registration No. 234644 partially in relation to the goods of class 32 “mineral and aerated waters and other non-alcoholic beverages; fruit drinks and fruit juices; syrups and other preparations for making beverages” and also terminated the legal protection of the Russian trademark under registration No. 317548 partially in relation to the goods of class 32 "water, soft drinks, fruit drinks, syrups for drinks, fruit juices, preparations for making fruit water, preparations for making beverages, non-alcoholic fruit extracts".
