Appeal Court Rules in Favour of Sojuzpatent’s Client – Ghan and Lee Pharmaceutical Ltd.

The Ninth Arbitration Appeal Court ruled in favour of Sojuzpatent’s client – Ghan and Lee Pharmaceutical Ltd. (China) in a patent invalidation case with regard to the Russian patent of company Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH “Acid insulinic preparations with the heightened stability” No. 2313362. By the said ruling the court upheld the decision of the Moscow Arbitration Court regarding the same case that had upheld the decision of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property to satisfy the opposition filed by Sojuzpatent on behalf of its client - Ghan and Lee Pharmaceutical Ltd. on invalidation of the Russian patent No. 2313362. The Russian patent No. 2313362 was invalidated in full.
