The Appeal Arbitration Court for Ninth Circuit confirmed previous Decision of the Chamber for the Patent disputes of the Russian patent Office in favor of the client of Sojuzpatent – JSC “Motordetal”

April 01, 2008 the Appeal Arbitration Court for Ninth Circuit confirmed previous Decision of the Chamber for the Patent disputes of the Russian patent Office in favor of the client of Sojuzpatent – JSC “Motordetal” which invalidated Russian patent # 2272319 for the invention “Method of checking the authenticity of the goods” used by patent trolls to press the client and many other Russian and Foreign manufacturing companies to pay high royalties for the use of the “invention”. The trolls opened several patent infringement cases (including criminal procedure with the public prosecutor office) and the success of the invalidation procedure made by patent attorneys of Sojuzpatent was the best defense.
