Sojuzpatent’s Client Shell Prevails in Patent Dispute

On November 26, 2010, the Moscow Arbitration Court took a decision in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client Shell International BV Intellectual Property Services (Netherlands). By the said Decision, the Court rejected Translang Technologies' claims challenging Rospatent's decision of March 12, 2009 about termination of the Eurasian patent No 002780, which is owned by Translang Technologies Ltd. By said decision of Rospatent, the Eurasian patent No 002780 was terminated on the basis of Sojuzpatent's objections. Sojuzpatent’s objections were based on the fact that a number of features contained in the claims of the Eurasian patent No 002780 were missed in the initial materials of the international application.
