Arbitration Court Decided in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client RICHTER GEDEON (Hungary)

On October 20, 2010, the Moscow Arbitration Court decided in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client “RICHTER GEDEON NYRT” (Hungary) (third person) and refused to satisfy the claim of Les Laboratoires Servier (France) against the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (RUPTO) about the invalidation in part of Russia patent EA 008223 related to the group of inventions “Matrix tablet with a basis for the prolonged release of trimetazidine” due to the fact that the group of inventions according to the independent claim 1 of the contested patent does not meet the condition of patentability “novelty”.
