Our attorneys invalidate the adverse party's patent

On February 27, 2007, the Chamber for Patent Disputes invalidated the Russian invention patent 2272319 in an opposition case filed by Sojuzpatent's patent attorneys on behalf of our client -“Kostroma Motor Plant”. It is interesting to note that this patent was used by the patent owner as a ground for criminal infringement accusations against several large Russian and Foreign companies. The companies' executives were criminally accused by patent owner for willingful infringement of the patent 2272319 on a large scale (article 147 of the Russian Criminal Code) and faced up to 5 years of imprisonment.
