Chamber for Patent Disputes' Decision on “PRAKTIKER” Trademark Enters into Force

On July 23, 2006, the Chamber for Patent Disputes' Decision in favor of our client on the international registration 756721 for the “PRAKTIKER” trademark entered into the legal force. The Decision of the Chamber for Patent Disputes overruled the previous negative decision of the examination issued by the Federal Institute for Industrial Propery.

Sojuzpatent's trademark attorneys were successful in proving lack of confusing similarity between the designation “PRAKTIKER” and the previously registered Russian trademarks “PRACRIC” and “PRAKTIK” (in Cyrillic letters).
