Chamber for Patent Disputes Rules in Favor of BBC on TOP GEAR Trademark

On June 3, 2006, the Chamber for Patent Disputes' Decision on the trademark “TOP GEAR” entered into legal force. The Decision declared partially void the registration of the trademark “TOP GEAR” in the name of the Russian company AVANGARD as contradicting to the BBC Corporation's prior trademark rights.
