Sojuzpatent's Patent Attorneys Participate in 39th AIPPI Congress

Sojuzpatent's Patent Attorneys Larissa Yatrova and Olzhibek Kosunov participated at the 39th AIPPI Congress on July 19 –23, 2004 in Geneva, Switzerland.
More than 1 500 attendees from 80 countries registered at the Congress. Further modification of the statute to improve the Association activities was adopted. The plenary sessions discussed ongoing law harmonization issues: the questions of industrial use/applicability as the criteria of patentability, registration of “non-conventional” trademarks, database protection and the employers’ rights to intellectual property. Five interesting topics on the problems of IP protection were presented at the Workshops.
