Arbitration Appeal Court Rules in Favor of Sojuzpatent’s Client – Hasbro Inc. (USA)

The Seventeenth Arbitration Appeal Court ruled in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client – Hasbro Inc. (USA) in an administrative offence case. The court upheld in full the Ruling of the Arbitration court of Sverdlovsk region on the same case on bringing the importer to administrative responsibility according to part 1 of art. 14.10 of the Russian Administrative Offences Code for illegal use of the designation «ALIVE BABY» confusingly similar to the Russian trademark «BABY ALIVE» owned by Hasbro Inc. The court ordered a fine of 50 000 rubles with confiscation of infringing goods.
