Arbitration Appeal Court Rules in Favor of Sojuzpatent’s Client – Renault s.a.s.

The Fourteenth Arbitration Appeal Court ruled in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client – Renault s.a.s. (France) in a case regarding bringing LLC. "TechExpo" to administrative liability for unlawful use of designations confusingly similar to the international registration trademark No. 581303 the right holder of which is Renault s.a.s. Court revoked the Decision of Arbitration Court of Tver Region regarding the same case and ruled to withdraw counterfeit goods and brought LLC "TechExpo" to administrative liability under part 1 of Article 14.10 of Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation and imposed a fine on the infringer in the amount of 50 000 rubles
