Moscow Arbitration Court Rules in Favor of Sojuzpatent’s Client – HACHETTE FILIPACCHI PRESSE (France)

The Moscow Arbitration Court ruled in favor of Sojuzpatent’s client – HACHETTE FILIPACCHI PRESSE (France) in a case regarding an infringement of rights for the trademark «ELLE» under international registrations No. 546813 and No. 657541. The Court satisfied the Plaintiff’s claims and prohibited LLC "Progress Group" to use the designation “ElleBox” and “ELLEBOX” containing trademark “ELLE” registered by company HACHETTE FILIPACCHI PRESSE under international registrations No. 546813 and No. 657541 when introducing into circulation, advertising and offering for introduction into circulation of cosmetic products and perfumes, as well as on the packaging of the said goods, in the Internet, including social networks, when providing services of advertising and promotion of goods, of packing, selection and organization of delivery of goods, educational and consulting services. The court also decided to collect from LLC "Progress Group" in favor of HACHETTE FILIPACCHI PRESSE compensation for the infringement of trademark rights in the amount of 100 000 rubles and expenses for payment of the state fee.
